Our History
Radical Resistance Company was established in 2021 as Black Radical Tradition Clothing. Radical Resistance is a brand founded on the principles of abolition and justice for all oppressed peoples and rooted in southern black culture.
Mission
The mission of Radical Resistance is to create shit that makes racist white people turn red in the face and avoid eye contact with us in the line at Wal-Mart. We aim to center black women, hood black people, queer and trans identifying folks, sex workers and uplift anarchocommunist radical political ideologies.
Above all, we aim to protect and highlight the beauty and complexity of inner-city black culture in the coastal south and provide resources to underserved communities around the country.
About the owner
Keiajah AKA Baby Face Kay AKA The Prettiest Real Nigga is a Kansas born Savannah-raised community organizer and creative who has been instrumental in the fight for liberation in the pote. Organizing around abolition, school discipline reform, and housing. In 2021, she led a campaign that won an affordable housing complex for low-income Savannah residents. Her work also includes organizing Savannah's largest Free Palestine/BLM March, working to end the punitive practicies of ISS, OSS, and detention in SCCPSS, and legitmately putting fear into the hearts of Mayors across Georgia and Missouri.
Also, leading mutual aid initiatives that have freed black people from our local jail, provided groceries to families, assisted with car repairs, paid restitution for newly released incarcerated folks, taken local black youth on shopping sprees, provided cash assistance to houseless folks, and much more.
She has remained vocal and persistent in the fight for better conditions for the pote (Savannah), Atlanta, and Kansas City and the black and underserved communities in them. Her hobbies include frolicking in neurodivergent bitch heaven-- Barnes and Noble, rapping Skilla Baby while pointing in peoples faces, gleefully fanning the gworls at balls, and hyperfixating on new electronics.
Advocacy
Radical Resistance is owned by radicals, supported by radicals, in support of radical beliefs. We believe backing that shit up with action is even more important than the beliefs themselves.
From Keiajah -- beacuse of that, we be outside. The internet is an invaluable resource that has lent platforms to oppressed people all the way from Palestine to the Pote. However, we are O U T S I D E. Protesting, organizing, volunteering, laughing, and recovering from the violence of white supremacy. Keep that in mind when supporting us!
Community
Radical Resistance is committed to enriching the lives of oppressed peoples, especially Black people and children. Whether it's through Free Ice Cream Day in the projects (pictured left), leading Black youth to do community clean-ups, taking black youth out on excursions, or giving direct cash mutual aid to Black people in grocery stores, We're on it. And your support helps further this work!
